Rhinebeck writers pay nothing to participate. Our wonderful donors cover 100% of their costs, which include a $500 stipend for each writer, rental of a fully furnished home, food, travel, and pianos. You can also support our Triple R program, where we give one writing team two readings and a residency to further develop their musical and your donation covers actors, directors, and rehearsal space. Support the future of musical theatre!

We are now accepting gifts of stock transfers. Donating appreciated stocks can be a tax-efficient way to make a charitable contribution. You can take the market value of the stock on the day of the transfer as your charitable deduction, and you can avoid capital gains tax on selling the stock. Check with your tax advisor first and, if interested, email us at info@rhinebeckwriters.org for instructions on stock transfers.
