'Operation Mincemeat' To Open On Broadway Spring 2025

Operation Mincemeat began as a tiny (and tiny-budgeted) production at London’s New Diorama Theatre. The show quickly gained a devoted following, spurring sold-out runs at venues including Southwark Playhouse and Riverside Studios.
The extraordinary debut musical is written and composed by the comedy group, SpitLip, featuring David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts

Titled Songs of Our Summer From Rhinebeck to Chelsea, the gala will include a concert of selections from new musicals developed at the retreat. Performers will be announced at a later date. The gala will also feature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction.​

Rhinebeck Writers Retreat Reveals Residencies For 24 Writers Of Nine New Musicals
The nine musicals were selected from a record 219 applicants, representing 474 musical theatre writers, including Oscar-nominated playwright Peter Hedges, 2024 Richard Rodgers and Larson Award winner Veronica Mansour, & Emmy-winning creative team the Q Brothers Collective.
